Transformers Birthday Party Decorations On a Budget Plus Free Printables.
So here’s how I threw and decorated a Transformers Seventh Birthday Party for my son on a budget, but still managed to make it look like an expensive ultimate transformers party (well, at least for me, that’s how I see it 🙂 ). That’s what coordinating party printables can do to any party! Download the Free Transformers Birthday Party Printables at the end of this post. 🙂
The party was a hit, I got so many compliments, and my son was very happy and proud. Well that was the goal, to make my son happy on his special day. 🙂
Themed Party Printables are amazing at making any party a hit. I took a lot of ideas from Pinterest, designed the printables, printed on my home printer and assembled them. I had so much fun making all the decorations. I love my printer. 🙂 You really need a good reliable printer that prints vivid colors to achieve a professional look on your designs.
I bought blue, red and yellow balloons. My son’s favorite transformer is Optimus Prime. Though Optimus’ colors are just red and blue, I added yellow to include bumble bee and to add color to the theme as well.
I got the design of the cake from Pinterest and asked a local baker to design the cake with matching cupcakes. The cake and cupcakes were a bit expensive but they were delicious and totally matched the theme so the price was worth it. And my son loved his cake and cupcakes.
I hanged milestone pictures. The pictures were supposed to be placed somewhere else with a “Matthew’s Transformation” banner but didn’t have the time to create the banner. I placed a name banner and his age on the middle curtain, and put more gears cut outs. As for the goodie bags or favor boxes and kid’s prizes, I printed labels on sticker papers then labeled the boxes and stuffed them with chocolates, candies and cookies.
I forgot to tie up some balloons on the curtain rod. Well, my original plan was to put a lot of balloons up there to hide the curtain rod, which is why I purchased so many balloons that were not actually used. This is when I realized the importance of having a checklist. I actually forgot a lot more like hanging a happy birthday banner, scatter balloons on the floor, cover the electricity switch breaker, and decorate outside where the games for the children were held. Just when I thought I had everything set up and was already busy entertaining and receiving guests, I actually had so many things that I forgot to include. So when planning a party, jot down everything, and when it’s time to decorate, just cross out the things you’ve already done. This way, you can be sure everything you planned will be executed and how you envisioned the party will look the way you planned it. 🙂
My two sisters hosted the party games for the kids outdoors. The kids had so much fun!
